Nissan made an unusual move for model year 2025 when it redesigned the Kicks yet kept the existing version going as the single-trim Kicks Play. The Kicks’ second generation was defined by updated looks and technology, with increases in size, power, and performance. The 2026 Kicks continues that appealing blend of attributes, which also includes the segment’s best ground clearance (8.4 inches). Despite the very recent redesign, the automaker still sought to improve the model, making dual USB ports standard on every trim, along with a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity. The two higher trims also now get remote start as well as eligibility for the optional Cold Weather Package (heated front seats, underseat heat ducts for backseat, and heated side mirrors). There’s also an expanded exterior palette with a two-tone treatment offered on the higher trims.
