New Nissan 2021 Nissan Kicks for Sale in Warwick, RI
Along with many of Nissan’s most popular vehicles, the Kicks has been redesigned for the 2021 model year with more technology, style, and amenities than ever. This nimble compact crossover made its debut in 2018 and quickly garnered praise and popularity, especially with young car buyers, due to its price point, excellent handling and youthful styling. The latest version gets some noteworthy upgrades, which we’ll cover in detail below.
The 2021 Kicks has a new exterior look that’s dominated by an aggressive “Double V-motion” grille, refreshed 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheel designs, and available LED headlights that lend a more modern appearance. Automatic headlights are standard for every trim, and the SR gets standard LED fog lights. The cosmetic upgrades extend to the rear, where it gets a new bumper and an LED combination light that stretches across the vehicle’s width. Meanwhile, roof rails, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, and a rear roof spoiler will be optional.
One of the Kicks’ high points is its assortment of vibrant paint and roof color options. Three have been added for the new model year: Electric Blue Metallic, Scarlet Ember Tintcoat, and Boulder Gray Pearl. A trio of new two-tone body and roof combinations will also be offered: Super Black/Scarlet Ember Tintcoat, Super Black/Electric Blue Metallic, and Super Black/Boulder Gray Pearl. To personalization your Kicks even further, the Kicks Color Studio offers over 100 million different color combinations that will allow individual buyers to truly express their personality.
The upgraded materials in the Kicks’ interior give it a more upscale feel. The SV and SR trims get new seat and door trim designs and a redesigned center console with an armrest that adds comfort on long road trips. All trims qualify for a sporty D-shaped steering wheel, and the SR Premium Package will yield three-tone simulated-leather Prima-Tex seats. For the music lover, the optional SR Premium Package adds a class-exclusive Bose Personal Plus audio system with eight speakers that use Bose signal processing to deliver a truly immersive sound experience. A pair of lightweight 2.5-inch Bose UltraNearfield speakers are also contained within the driver’s seat headrest, and Bose’s PersonalSpace Control system is built into the infotainment system’s audio settings. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and an infotainment system with a 7-inch display will be standard across the board. An infotainment system with an 8-inch screen will be available.
The SV and SR trims come with standard Intelligent Cruise Control. In addition, the SR receives an Integrated Dynamic-Control Module, an Active Engine Brake function, Intelligent Trace Control, and Intelligent Ride Control, all of which combine to improve the overall driving experience.
2021 Kicks Trims
The S is the most basic trim in the lineup, but that doesn’t mean it’s without appeal. For example, it’s host to some convenient amenities like push-button ignition, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, a 12-volt power outlet, three USB ports, a rearview camera, two cupholders, four bottle holders, and a 60/40 split-folding second-row seat with an armrest. Outside, the S has automatic on/off headlights, 16-inch wheels, and power-adjustable side mirrors. Infotainment is operated through a 7-inch touchscreen and comes with some useful features, like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming, Siri Eyes Free voice recognition, and a six-speaker audio system. The S really shines with its abundance of active driver aids, too. These include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, rear automatic braking, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and rear parking sensors.
The list of standard features grows in the SV with automatic climate control, rear-passenger under-seat heater ducts, fob-less entry, remote start, silver roof rails, heated side mirrors, and 17-inch wheels. What’s more, infotainment is improved with an 8-inch touchscreen and satellite radio, while adaptive cruise control and driver attention alert are added to the bustling suite of safety features.
The top-end SR is packed with all the premium amenities. In addition to its unique style (which includes dark exterior elements, silver door trim, and black roof rails), it has sport cloth seats with orange details and stitching, black simulated-leather interior accents (also with orange stitching), a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, LED headlights, and a surround-view camera system. There’s an optional SR Premium Package that will supply some added luxuries, such as a vehicle security system, a Wi-Fi hotspot, simulated leather seats with the orange accents and stitching, heated front seats, an eight-speaker Bose audio system, a heated steering wheel, and a cargo area cover.
