The front-wheel-drive 2025 Versa comes in trim packages called S, SV, and SR. Power for all versions is supplied by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 122 horsepower. The base S can be ordered with a five-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT), but the SV and SR are made only with the CVT. With the manual transmission, the Versa achieves EPA-estimated fuel economy of 27 mpg around town and 35 mpg on the open road. In comparison, the CVT version provides 32 mpg in city driving and 40 mpg on the highway.
The entry-level Versa S focuses on core features, including manual air conditioning, cloth seating surfaces, remote keyless access, automatic LED headlights, power-adjustable side mirrors, manual seat adjustments (six-way driver, four-way passenger), a tilt/telescopic steering column, three USB ports, and 15-inch steel wheels with covers. The optional S+ Package will add a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, 16-inch aluminum wheels, and enhanced infotainment equipment (detailed below).
The SV brings upgraded cloth upholstery, proximity keyless entry, push-button ignition, wireless device charging, a center console with an armrest, a 7-inch driver information display, and 16-inch aluminum wheels. At the top of the range, the SR is the luxury Versa with remote start, heated front seats, automatic climate control, sport-style cloth upholstery, LED headlamps, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated power side-view mirrors with turn indicators, a rear spoiler, a Prima-Tex-appointed dashboard, an additional USB port, and 17-inch aluminum wheels.
Every 2025 Versa has Nissan Safety Shield 360 installed. This advanced technology suite encompasses forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, rear automatic braking, and automatic high beams. The SV and SR get blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and driver alertness monitoring. Adaptive cruise control is exclusive to the SR. All Versas are set up with anti-lock brakes, stability control, traction control, an array of airbags, hill start assistance, and a backup camera.
The S and SV trims feature a 7-inch touchscreen interface, with SV and S+ Package-equipped editions receiving an enhanced NissanConnect version. The SR upgrades to an 8-inch NissanConnect touchscreen. Standard technology across the range includes four-speaker audio, Bluetooth, and text message support. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included with the SV and SR trims and the available S+ Package for the Versa S. The SR adds a six-speaker audio system and SiriusXM satellite radio.
