2022 Nissan Maxima for Sale in Warwick, RI
Trims and Powertrain
The 2022 Nissan Maxima is a full-sized sedan that’s available in SV, SR, and Platinum trim levels. All are whisked into action by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 300 hp and 261 lb.-ft. of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) directs power to the front-wheel drivetrain. Despite the ’22 Maxima’s clear brawn, it’s able to achieve an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, making it a venerable commuter car.
Standard Equipment and Packages
While the SV is the most basic of the bunch, it’s has some noteworthy standard features to brag about, such as remote start, automatic LED headlights, heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, keyless entry, push-button ignition, dual-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, power-adjustable Zero Gravity heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a 7-inch Advanced Drive-Assist display, one USB-A and one USB-C port, and a 60/40-split fold-down rear seatback.
Looks-wise, the SR is attention-getting with its black exterior trim. It also adds LED fog lights and enhanced side mirrors with position memory, reverse tilt-down capability, and driver’s side auto-dimming. The SR’s interior consists of a power-operated dual-panel panoramic moonroof, a HomeLink universal garage door opener, adjustable ambient interior lighting, a driver’s seat with memory and a manual thigh support extension, a front passenger’s seat power lifter, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, premium leather upholstery with diamond-quilted inserts, additional USB-A and USB-C ports, active noise cancellation and enhancement technology, and aluminum sport pedals which deliver a more performance-oriented aesthetic.
The Platinum is the most luxurious. Although it loses the SR’s black trim, sporty attributes, and active sound enhancement, it retains the active noise cancellation and gets a power tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel with memory, rain-sensing wipers, a power rear-window sunshade, and all-new heated rear seats.
Active Safety Features
There’s no shortage of advanced driver aids in the ’22 Maxima. The SV comes with adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, driver attention alert, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, reverse automatic braking, and automatic high beams. The SR and Platinum top off with intelligent lane intervention, a surround-view camera system, and front parking sensors.
All ’22 Maxima trims have an infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, integrated navigation, satellite radio, an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. While the SV comes with an eight-speaker audio system, the SR and Platinum get a top-shelf Bose Premium Audio System with 11 speakers and Centerpoint 2 surround-sound technology.
