2020 Nissan Sentra for Sale in Warwick, RI
The Nissan Sentra has been redesigned for the 2020 model year, making it more stylish and feature-heavy than ever. The solid value of this compact four-door makes it enticing for budget-minded drivers who want a great-looking car without sacrificing today’s top automotive technologies for safety and connectivity. This new generation of the Sentra also brings an all-new powertrain, a zestier 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (it makes 20 percent more horsepower than its predecessor) with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Fuel economy is excellent at up to 29 mpg city and 39 mpg highway, as rated by the EPA. The Nissan Safety Shield 360 system is also now standard for every trim level.
Comfort and Convenience
The three trims of the 2020 Nissan Sentra receive a rising slate of standard features. The base S gets all the essentials, including automatic headlights, keyless entry with push-button ignition, a rearview camera, an Advanced Drive-Assist display, an infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen, and a 60/40 split fold-down rear seat. The SV gets a little more upscale by adding heated turn-signal-integrated side mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, the Nissan Intelligent Key, remote start, premium cloth seating, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. There are a few optional items available as well: LED headlights, a sunroof, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, quilted leather-trimmed seats, and heated front seats. Those optional items remain optional with the top-trim SR (except for the quilted leather seats). It does get LED fog lights and a leather-wrapped shifter knob as standard features, though. As far as options for this trim, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, simulated-leather-appointed sport seats with contrast orange stitching, and a heated steering wheel are all available.
Safety and Technology
Each of the 2020 Nissan Sentra trims receives the comprehensive Nissan Safety Shield 360 suite of active driver aids. This includes intelligent forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, a rear sonar system, intelligent trace control, high beam assist, and intelligent driver alertness. The SV and SR benefit from intelligent cruise control, and the SR is able to include an intelligent around-view monitor. All Sentras have been built to protect the occupants in the case of a collision, with front and rear crumple zones, side-impact beams, an energy-absorbing steering column, and a complete array of front and side air bags.
a base trim, the S is outfitted with a decent amount of desirable technology. It gets a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen with voice recognition, Siri Eyes Free, hands-free texting assist, Bluetooth hands-free and audio streaming, a four-speaker audio system, and a USB port. The upgrades to the SV are highlighted by an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, two USB ports and one USB-C port, and satellite radio. The SR is similarly equipped, but buyers can add an eight-speaker premium Bose audio system.
