The 2025 Nissan Rogue offers buyers a selection of five trims: S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum. Each version is powered by a VC-Turbo 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine that delivers 201 horsepower and 225 lb.-ft. of torque. This powerplant uses variable compression (VC) technology to enhance engine performance and fuel efficiency. The Rogue’s power is managed by a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that directs power to the standard front-wheel drive (FWD) system, with all-wheel drive (AWD) available on all trims (the Rock Creek gets it standard).
Based on the trim level and selected options, the cargo space behind the rear seats ranges from 36.3 to 36.5 cubic feet. The Rogue can tow up to 1,500 pounds when it’s properly equipped. The EPA-estimated fuel economy for the 2025 Rogue ranges from 29 to 30 mpg in the city and 32 to 37 mpg on the highway, depending on the trim and drivetrain (FWD or AWD).
The list of features in the Rogue S includes remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, fabric seating surfaces, LED exterior lighting with automatic headlights, power side-view mirrors, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, rear privacy glass, cruise control, two front-row USB ports, and 17-inch alloy wheels. The SV raises the convenience quotient with proximity keyless entry, remote start, a power tailgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, an eight-way power driver’s seat, heated power side mirrors, two second-row USB ports, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Buyers who want additional features can elect the optional SV Premium Package, which will equip the vehicle with a power panoramic moonroof, Prima-Tex leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, rear-door sunshades, and roof rails.
The Rock Creek is distinguished by trim-exclusive leatherette upholstery, heated front seats, exclusive exterior treatments, a black tubular roof rack, and 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The optional Rock Creek Premium Package furnishes a heated steering wheel, wireless device charging, a motion-activated liftgate, a four-way power front-passenger seat, a driver’s position memory system, exterior mirrors with reverse tilt-down functionality, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
The upscale SL makes its mark with leather upholstery, wireless device charging, a four-way power front passenger seat, a 12.3-inch digital instrument display, heated power exterior mirrors with LED turn indicators, a cargo management system, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The available SL Premium Package contains a power panoramic moonroof, tri-zone automatic climate control, a motion-activated liftgate, a driver’s memory system, a head-up display, heated power exterior mirrors with reverse tilt-down, and rear door sunshades.
The Platinum builds on the SL with the Premium Package (minus tri-zone climate control, motion-activated liftgate, and rear door sunshades) by adding quilted semi-aniline leather upholstery, remote-folding rear seats, and cabin accent lighting. The optional Platinum Premium Package loads the vehicle with a head-up display, tri-zone climate control, heated second-row seats, motion-activated liftgate, and rear door sunshades.
Advanced safety features on every 2025 Rogue are centered around Nissan Safety Shield 360, which integrates forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring (with blind-spot intervention on the SV and above), rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, rear automatic braking, rear parking sensors, a driver alertness monitor, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist is added at the SV level, for hands-on semi-autonomous driving with adaptive cruise control and a lane departure minimization system. The standard safety technology expands with the SL and Platinum to include a surround-view monitor, enhanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1, and front and rear parking sensors. The Rock Creek gets a surround-view monitor with an off-road mode.
The optional Tech Package for the SL and Platinum adds ProPILOT Assist 2.1 with hands-free highway driving (on select routes) and an upgraded surround-view monitor. Every trim receives a full complement of airbags plus anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, hill start assist, and a rearview camera.
The 2025 Rogue’s base infotainment package centers on an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth. Audio comes through a six-speaker system in the SV and SL; the S has four speakers, while the Platinum trim gets a Bose system with ten speakers. The SV and higher gets NissanConnect Services and Wi-Fi hotspot access. In the SL and Platinum, the system moves to a 12.3-inch touchscreen incorporating navigation, Google built-in services, and wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay.
