Trims and Powertrain

The 2025 Kicks is offered with three trim packages: S, SV, and SR. They all have a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 141 horsepower. This powerplant is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) featuring paddle shifters for simulated gear changes. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, with all-wheel drive available (AWD) across the lineup. The 2025 Kicks has four tailored drive settings, including snow and sport modes.

The EPA rates the fuel economy of the FWD-equipped Kicks at 28 mpg in city driving and 35 mpg on the highway. With AWD, it returns 27 mpg around town and 34 mpg on the open road. The Kicks offers up to 60.0 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded flat in the front-wheel drive configuration, or 50.1 cubic feet with all-wheel drive.

Standard Features

The base trim, the S, includes LED headlights with auto on/off, air conditioning with an in-cabin microfilter, fabric upholstery, remote keyless entry with push-button start, a 7-inch driver information display, a tilt-and-telescopic steering column, power side mirrors (heated with AWD), a USB port, and 16-inch steel wheels with covers. The SV adds proximity keyless entry, privacy glass, heated power side mirrors, LED cabin lighting, an adjustable rear cargo floor (FWD only), wireless device charging, and two additional USB ports. Its wheel size increases to 17 inches, with steel wheels with covers for FWD-equipped SVs and 17-inch alloys for those with AWD.

The range-topping SR brings leatherette-trimmed seats with sport cloth inserts, automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, LED headlights with LED signature accents, roof rails, and heated power side mirrors with integrated LED turn indicators. The Kicks SR also gets ambient cabin lighting, a rear seat armrest with cup holders, sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors and extensions, four USB ports, and 17-inch machine-finished alloy wheels.

Advanced Driver Aids and Safety Technology

All 2025 Kicks models come standard with Nissan Safety Shield 360. This technology includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, automatic high beams, and rear door alert. The S and SV come with rear parking sensors, while the SR also gets front sensors. Exclusive to the SR is lane and blind-spot intervention, which applies subtle braking to minimize potential collision incidents, traffic sign recognition, and a surround-view monitor. In addition, the SV and SR also have adaptive cruise control and ProPILOT Assist for semi-autonomous hands-on driving support. Every Kicks also gets a rearview monitor, an array of airbags, stability and traction control, and hill start assist.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The S trim has a 7-inch touchscreen interface with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Siri Eyes Free, and voice control capabilities. Moving up to the SV or SR trims brings a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, as well as SiriusXM satellite radio. A four-speaker audio system is standard on the S and SV, while the SR gets six speakers. The SR is also eligible for the Bose Personal Plus Audio system that features ten speakers, including UltraNearfield units in the front seat headrests.
