Ariya’s revised 2025 lineup contains trim packages labeled Engage, Evolve, and Platinum+. The Engage and Evolve offer a mix of battery sizes and drivetrains. The Engage comes standard with front-wheel drive (FWD) and a 63 kWh battery, but dual-motor (one per axle) all-wheel drive (AWD) is optional. The Engage+ is made in a configuration of an 87 kWh battery and AWD. All Ariya trims accompanied by the “+” designation have the larger battery pack. The Evolve+ offers FWD and an 87 kWh battery, with all-wheel drive optional. The Platinum+ is strictly an AWD and big battery offering.
The electric motor output and range vary by battery size, trim, and powertrain. The Engage trim with FWD makes 214 horsepower and can travel up to 216 miles. Adding AWD will increase horsepower to 335 while dipping the range to 205 miles. The AWD-only Engage+ produces 389 horsepower and can travel up to 272 miles on a full charge. The FWD-equipped Evolve+ generates 238 horsepower and yields an estimated range of 289 miles, making it the top Ariya trim for distance capability. The Evolve+ with AWD dials up the horsepower to 389, as the range is slightly reduced to 272 miles. The Platinum+ is equally potent, with 389 horsepower and the capability to travel 267 miles on a full charge.
Depending on the trim and drivetrain, the Ariya is EPA-rated for 84 to 109 combined MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent). The Ariya’s battery can be charged from 10% to 20% to 80% in 40 minutes less using a Level 3/DC fast charging hub operating at 130 kW. A Level 2 (240-volt) charger can restore a 0% battery to 100% in 10.5 to 14 hours.
There’s ample cargo space in the Ariya, with 22.8 cubic feet behind the second row; that expands to 59.7 cubic feet with the seats folded down. With AWD, the trailering capacity reaches up to 1,500 pounds.
The Engage goes beyond the essentials with comfortable leatherette upholstery, heated front and rear outboard seats, a heated steering wheel, an eight-way power driver’s seat, a driver’s memory system, a head-up display, dual-zone automatic climate control, and 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels with aerodynamic covers. For convenience, it has proximity keyless entry, push-button start, heated power side mirrors with power-fold, automatic LED headlights, a 12.3-inch driver information display, a Divide-N-Hide cargo system (FWD only), wireless device charging, four USB ports, and a power-sliding center console.
The Evolve adds a panoramic moonroof, a power liftgate, an eight-way power front passenger seat, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The Platinum+ spoils its passengers with Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and a hands-free tailgate. The list of amenities is rounded out by a power tilt-and-telescopic steering column, LED fog lights, side mirrors with reverse tilt-down and integrated LED turn indicators, and enhanced cabin lighting.
Nissan Safety Shield 360 is installed on all 2025 Ariya trims and includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane intervention, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, ProPILOT Assist (semi-autonomous driving support), automatic high beams, traffic sign recognition, and a driver alertness monitor. The Evolve and Platinum+ get the Intelligent Around-View Monitor and a digital rearview mirror, while the Platinum+ has a premium edition of ProPILOT Assist and a semi-autonomous parking system. All trims have a stability control, traction control, hill start assist, and an array of airbags.
A 12.3-inch touchscreen in the center dashboard controls an advanced infotainment system featuring navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, voice recognition, and the Hello Nissan digital assistant. Subscription-enabled Wi-Fi hotspot capability and access to NissanConnect Services are also standard. The Engage and Evolve have a six-speaker audio system, while a the Platinum+ flaunts a Bose upgrade with ten speakers.
